CHARLOTTE, NC - The Saint Joseph's baseball team suffered its third consecutive shutout loss on Friday evening, falling to the Charlotte 49ers by a score of 4-0. Charlotte (25-5, 7-1 Atlantic 10) took an early 1-0 lead in the third when Cory Lane took Mower deep in his second at bat. 49er pitcher Spencer Steedley had a two-out triple in the sixth that plated two runs. Four walks and a fielder's choice in the seventh inning gave Charlotte their final tally.
