NORRISTOWN, Pa. (04/22/01) - The St. Joseph's baseball team (16-18-1, 6-4 A-10) placed itself square in the hunt for a first-ever Atlantic 10 Tournament berth by splitting a critical A-10 doubleheader with league leader Temple (17-21, 11-2), 15-8 and 11-7 at Latshaw-McCarthy Field. Senior Jim Reilly drove in the game-winning run for SJU during a four-run sixth inning in game two for SJU. The Hawks next travel to Maryland-Eastern Shore on Tuesday, April 24 for doubleheader with the Fighting Hawks. On Sunday, SJU will visit crosstown rival Pennsylvania.
