PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's junior forward Dave Mallon will be sidelined for at least two weeks with a stress fracture in the second metatarsal of his right foot. Mallon suffered the injury in practice late last week and an MRI confirmed the diagnosis.
Last season, Mallon had a stress fracture in the third metatarsal of the same foot, which caused him to miss the first seven games of the season.
Mallon will be re-evaluated by doctors after two weeks to determine his return to practice.
