NEWPORT NEWS, VA. - Saint Joseph's Langston Galloway has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week and the third time this season.
Galloway paced Saint Joseph's to a 76-70 win at Fordham in its only action of the week. He registered a career-high 25 points for the second straight game, as the Hawks rallied from a 16-point second-half deficit. He added four rebounds, three assists and two steals, while not committing a turnover in 38 minutes of action. Galloway, a native of Baton Rouge, La., also connected on seven of nine shots from the free throw line.
The 6-2 guard ranks second on the Hawks in scoring with 12.0 points per game, and is the team's leader in rebounds (5.7), assists (2.9), steals (1.5) and free throw percentage (.881).
SJU, which has won two in a row, hosts Xavier on Wednesday evening at Hagan Arena.
