Selected Men's Basketball Games to Be Broadcast on WHAT-AM

PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's has reached an agreement with radio station WHAT (1340 AM) to broadcast selected men's basketball games through the remainder of 2006.

1340 AM WHAT will pick up three games that were previously not cleared for commercial broadcasts, beginning with the game at Lafayette on Friday evening, November 17. Tom McCarthy and Joe Lunardi will call the action from Easton, PA, with the pre-game show beginning at 8:45 p.m.

WHAT will also carry the Saint Joseph's-Boston University game on November 27 (7 p.m.), the St. Mary's game on December 19 and the opening game of the Holiday Festival against Hofstra on December 28 from Madison Square Garden (6:30 p.m.).

This broadcast, and every one throughout the season, can also be heard via the internet at Hawks All-Access at www.sjuhawks.com.

1340 AM WHAT is owned by ICBC Broadcast Holdings Incorporation and covers the entire Philadelphia Metro area.
