PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's senior Garrett Williamson has been named to the All-Big Five Second Team and will be honored at the Herb Good Club's 65th Annual Banquet on April 19.
Williamson had a career-best season for the Hawks, scoring 12.1 points per game. He also topped SJU in assists (3.9), steals (1.7) and free throw percentage.
The 6-5 guard was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team for the second time and earns All-Big Five honors for the first time in his career.
The All-Big Five First Team consists of Villanova's Scottie Reynolds and Corey Fisher, La Salle's Rodney Green and Temple's Ryan Brooks and Lavoy Allen. Reynolds was named the Player of the Year.
Joining Williamson on the Second Team is La Salle's Aaric Murray, Penn's Zack Rosen, Villanova's Antonio Pena and Temple's Juan Fernandez.
