Janet Greder, in her 13th year as the university’s director of educational support services for student-athletes, directs a multi-faceted program of academic support that affords student-athletes the opportunity to succeed both in the classroom and on the field.
In addition to overseeing the program for all of SJU’s student-athletes, she works directly with the men’s basketball program.
Greder came to SJU after three years as an academic coordinator at the University of Iowa. From 1997 to 2001, she was the assistant academic coordinator at Creighton University. A native of North Platte, Neb., she received her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 1986 and a master’s of science degree in counseling from Nebraska-Omaha in 1997. She resides in Drexel Hill, Pa.
