Field Hockey Adds Kate Gogel for 2018 Season

Kate Gogel, a goalkeeper out of Danielsville, Pennsylvania, is set to join the Saint Joseph's field hockey program this fall. She comes to Hawk Hill from Northampton High School and is a member of the WC Eagles club program.

NFHCA Honors 14 Hawks with Academic Awards

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association has announced its academic honors for the 2017 season, and the Saint Joseph's field hockey team featured 14 award winners. In addition, the Hawks earned the National Academic Team Award as well.

Willocks, Kammerinke Earn NFHCA All-America Honors

Saint Joseph's junior forward Anna Willocks and sophomore goalkeeper Victoria Kammerinke were named to the 2017 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-America squads on Tuesday afternoon. Willocks earned Second Team accolades for the second consecutive season, while Kammerinke was tabbed for the Third Team.

Saint Joseph's junior forward Anna Willocks was named the 2017 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Field Hockey Performer of the Year for the second consecutive season on Monday. She was joined on the Academic All-Area Team by sophomores Kathrin Bentz and Victoria Kammerinke in a vote conducted by the sports information offices of colleges and universities throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Saint Joseph's sophomore goalkeeper Victoria Kammerinke was named the ECAC Division I Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Year on Thursday morning, the organization announced. SJU head coach Lynn Farquhar was recognized as the ECAC Division I Coach of the Year as well.

Five Hawks Named to NFHCA All-Region Teams

Five members of the Saint Joseph's field hockey team earned Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Region honors, the NFHCA announced on Monday afternoon. Saint Joseph's is one of just 10 schools nationwide to have five All-Region honorees.

#15 Hawks Fall to #4 North Carolina at NCAA Field Hockey Championship

The 15th-ranked Saint Joseph's field hockey team saw its season come to an end on Saturday as the Hawks fell to #4 North Carolina, 4-0, in the First Round of the 2017 NCAA Field Hockey Championship at Virginia's University Hall Turf Field.

The Saint Joseph's field hockey team is set for its first-ever NCAA Field Hockey Championship appearance as the Hawks will head to Charlottesville, Virginia, to meet fourth-seeded North Carolina on Saturday morning. Game time is set for 11:30 a.m. at University Hall Turf Field.
