Women's Cross Country Earns Fifth at ECAC Championship

In her final collegiate cross country race, senior co-captain Cassidy Weimer ran the 5k in 18:10.8 to finish eighth in a field of 210 runners and to lead the Saint Joseph's women's cross country squad to a fifth-place team finish in a field of 25 teams at the 2017 ECAC Championship, held at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday afternoon. Weimer and junior Lucy Harmon (15th) earned ECAC All-East honors for placing in the top 40.

Men's Cross Country Claims Third at IC4A Championship

In his final collegiate cross country race, graduate student tri-captain Dan Savage ran five miles in a collegiate-best time of 25:37.9 to finish 11th in a field of 203 runners and to lead the Saint Joseph's men's cross country squad to a third-place team finish in a field of 25 teams at the 2017 IC4A Championship, held at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday afternoon. All five of SJU's scorers - Savage, sophomore Zach Michon (18th), senior David Dorsey (32nd), junior Jack Daly (35th), and senior Collin Crilly (40th) - earned IC4A All-East honors for placing in the top 40.

Women's Basketball Caps Road Swing at James Madison

Men's Cross Country's Savage, Dorsey Repeat on A-10 All-Academic Team

For the second year in a row, both graduate student tri-captain Dan Savage and senior tri-captain David Dorsey have been voted onto the Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Team, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon. The team is comprised of student-athletes who were selected based on their performance on the trails as well as in the classroom. To be nominated, runners must have a GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) for their entire academic career. The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league's Sports Information Directors.
