For the second consecutive spring, Saint Joseph's men's track and field veterans David Dorsey and Dan Savage have been voted onto the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-Conference Team, the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon. To be nominated, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for their entire academic career. The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league's Sports Information Directors.
Saint Joseph's men's track and field and cross country standouts Dan Savage and David Dorsey have been voted onto the 2018 CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District Men's Track and Field and Cross Country First Team for District 2, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon. First-Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America ballot, with Google Cloud Academic All-America teams announced in June.

From the women's track and field squad, senior long/triple jumper Aarynn Crawley and senior hurdler/long sprinter Rose O'Brien were tabbed to the Fourth Team while junior short sprinter Nathaniela Bourdeau and sophomore hurdler/long sprinter Tamar Bourdeau were recognized as Honorable Mentions.
Senior Steve Thompson placed fifth in the open 800m and anchored the third-place 4x800m relay to lead the Saint Joseph's men's track and field squad to a 24th-place finish in a field of 43 squads at the 2018 IC4A Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held at Princeton University's Weaver Stadium this weekend. With four All-East performances out of the 800m, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay, and 4x800m relay, the Hawks accumulated 13 points for the two-day meet.
