2020 (Raced in Spring 2021): Team tri-captain... Extra year of eligibility came from redshirting 2018 season... SJU's top finisher at the season-opening Spider/Patriot Classic, crossing the 5k race in 19:37.2 for 73rd overall... SJU's second finisher at the Atlantic 10 Championship, crossing the 5k race in 19:19.4 for 74th overall.
2019: Team co-captain... Raced eight times, scoring in five meets... Opened season with 14th-place finish in the junior/senior race at the Monmouth Kick-Off Invitational (15:26.3) to finish as SJU's #5 runner... Followed up with a 26th-place showing at the George Mason Invitational 5k (19:43.8) to finish as SJU's #4 runner... Placed eighth at the Delaware Invitational 6k (24:16.1) to finish as SJU's #3 runner... Closed non-championship season with two additional 6k performances at the Lehigh Paul Short Run (22:52.4) and Penn State National Open (23:11.8)... Finished as SJU's #5 runner at Penn State... Made all three championship rosters... Placed 86th at the Atlantic 10 Championship 5k (20:09.5) as SJU's #5 runner... 2018: Raced three times before missing remainder of season due to injury... Ran collegiate-best 4k (15:18.4) for 14th in the junior/senior race at the Monmouth Kick-Off Invitational... Also ran a pair of 6k races at the Penn State Spiked Shoe Invitational (23:36.7) and Lehigh Paul Short Run (23:42.9).
2017: Raced seven times, including all three championship meets... Set new collegiate-best time in the 6k... Finished as SJU's #6 runner twice and #7 runner three times... Opened season with season-best 5k time of 19:30.1 to place 28th in a field of 68 in the season-opening TCNJ Blue/Gold Invitational... Ran 24:52.9 for 6k to place 17th in a field of 59 at the Rider Invitational... Ran 24:01.8 for 6.04k to place 27th in a field of 87 and to finish as SJU's #7 runner to help SJU to the team title at the George Mason Invitational... Ran 6k time of 24:01.7 to finish 116th in a field of 180 at the Princeton Invitational as SJU's #7 runner... Finished as SJU's #6 runner at the Atlantic 10 Championship, crossing the 5k race in 20:01.3 for 91st in a field of 129... Also finished as SJU's #6 runner at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship, recording a collegiate-best 6k time of 22:51.1 to finish 149th overall... Capped season with a 109th-place finish in the 5k with a time of 19:48.3 at the ECAC Championship, finishing as SJU's #7 runner.
2016: Raced eight times and scored in six meets… One of six total Hawks and one of just two total rookies to race in all three championship meets… One of four Hawks and the only rookie to score in all three championship meets… Placed 66th in a field of 131 at the Atlantic 10 Championship, clocking in with a collegiate-best 5k time of 18:40.4... Finished 127th in a field of 188 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship with a 6k time of 23:02… Capped season with a 38th-place finish at the ECAC Championship, covering the 5k in 20:03… Was SJU’s #4 finisher at all three championship races… Ran season-best 6k time (22:52.1) at the Paul Short Run, finishing as SJU’s #5 runner… Also raced the 6k at the Princeton Invitational (23:33.1) and Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational (24:21)… Ran 23:07.5 for 6.15k at the Rider Invitational for 22nd in a field of 122 to finish as SJU’s #4 runner… Opened collegiate cross country career with a 5k time of 19:08.50 at the TCNJ Blue/Gold Invitational, good for fourth in a field of 54 as SJU’s #3 finisher... High School/Personal: Scoring runner on cross country squad that won the 2015 PIAA AAA state title and regional title and placed fifth in the nation as a senior... 2014 PIAA AAA individual state medalist and team champion as a junior... 2013 PIAA AAA individual state medalist and scoring runner on runner-up squad... Placed in the Top 10 in PIAA District 1 as a junior... Scoring runner on runner-up team at Nike Cross Country Regionals and Top 10 finisher at Nike Nationals as a sophomore... Four-time state medalist in the 4x800m relay... Four-year varsity letterwinner for both cross country and track and field... Member of the National Honor Society at Pennsbury... Mother, Kelli (O'Donnell) Twomey '89, is Saint Joseph's school recordholder in the indoor 5000m (16:42.57) and a member of Saint Joseph's Track Hall of Fame and Athletics Hall of Fame... Father, Vincent '86, captained the Saint Joseph's men's track and field squads, ran the five-mile in 25:02, and led squad to Big 5 Championship... Brother, Vincent '24, runs for the Saint Joseph's men's track and field and cross country squads... Graduated from Saint Joseph's in May 2020 with an undergraduate degree in accounting and began graduate school at Saint Joseph's in Fall 2020.
