Baseball Drops La Salle, 6-2, in Atlantic 10 Series Opener

The Saint Joseph's baseball team opened its final Atlantic 10 series of the 2008 season with a victory over the rival La Salle Explorers, 6-2, on Thursday afternoon. The Hawks used a strong outing on the hill from sophomore Randy Mower and a big day at the plate from sophomore shortstop Joe Cook to secure the win. Cook was 3-for-4 with three runs scored, and he also drove in a run with his second home run of the season. Read Full Release [+]

Deadline for 2009 NCAA Tournament Ticket Applications is May 15

The deadline to apply for tickets for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament First and Second Rounds at the Wachovia Center is Thursday, May 15, 2008. Saint Joseph's is the host institution for the tournament which will be played on March 19 and 21 next year. Read Full Release [+]

Tim Klarich Selected as Hawk Mascot for 2008-09

Tim Klarich has been selected to serve as the next Saint Joseph's University Hawk mascot, beginning with the 2007-08 academic year.
